This temporary exhibit places objects from the Maine State Museum's extensive collection of aesthetic and utilitarian glass objects within the historical context of glass manufacturing. Casework is divided by era and glass type and punctuated with historical photographs of glassware in use in Maine. Didactic panels and labels were designed to give the curatorial staff flexibility in arranging and rotating artifacts.
