This project is a comprehensive study that includes a wayfinding analysis and the planning and design of gateways, vehicular & pedestrian signage, and parking lot identification. As Bentonville is located in one of the fastest growing regions in the country with several municipal projects slated to complete in the next three years, a system that incorporates a plan for future growth is an important part of this project. Creating a system that provides the opportunity to serve as a standard for surrounding communities in Northwest Arkansas is a desirable outcome of the program. With this in mind, schematic designs for signage include strategies for incorporating the character of individual cities with the framework of a cohesive regional system..
